Seed of the Future Trust

Terms of Service

Effective May 8, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the internal operations console located at app.seedofthefuture.org(the “Service”), operated by Seed of the Future Trust, a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 41-3332666) (the “Trust”). By accessing the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

The Service is available only to trustees, officers, and administrators who have been invited by the Trust. It is not intended for use by the general public. If you do not have authorized access, you must not use the Service.

3. Accounts & Authentication

Users may sign in using a magic link sent to their email or via Google OAuth. By authenticating with Google you authorize the Service to access your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) and, if you consent, your Google Drive for document storage on behalf of the Trust. The Service requests the following Google API scopes:

  • openid, email, profile— to identify and authenticate you.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive — to upload documents you select into the Trust’s shared Drive vault under your personal storage quota.

You may revoke the Drive permission at any time via your Google account settings. Revoking Drive access will disable document uploads but will not affect your ability to sign in.

4. Use of Google User Data

The Service’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • Google user data (name, email, Drive access tokens) is used solely to authenticate the user and to perform document uploads the user initiates.
  • Google user data is not sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used for any purpose unrelated to the Service’s functionality.
  • Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest in the Trust’s managed database and are refreshed automatically; they are never exposed to other users.
  • Users may request deletion of their stored Google tokens by contacting seedofthefuturetrust@gmail.com.

5. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only to:

  • Manage and track donations received by the Trust
  • Issue and send IRS-compliant donation receipts
  • Manage international grants and related compliance records
  • Track state and federal filing obligations
  • Upload and organize trust documents
  • Reconcile financial data with the Trust’s accounting system

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Share sign-in credentials or magic links with unauthorized persons
  • Access or attempt to access another user’s account
  • Export, transfer, or disclose Trust data to any third party without written authorization from the Trust’s administrator
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google LLC (authentication and Drive), Supabase Inc. (database and authentication), Resend Inc. (email delivery), Vercel Inc. (hosting), and Intuit Inc. (QuickBooks Online). Your use of those integrations is subject to each provider’s terms and privacy policy.

8. Privacy

The Trust’s collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

The Trust may suspend or revoke your access at any time and for any reason. Upon termination your license to use the Service ends immediately and any stored Google OAuth tokens associated with your account will be deleted.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use or inability to use the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes

The Trust may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Contact
